China is one of birthplaces of funeral. Chinese funeral culture played an important role in the world’s funeral development history. Gravestone is an indispensable work of art in the funeral industry. As a special commodity, gravestone contains a cultural and religious background. Since gravestone is difficult to move but easy to be found and repaired, it is widely used by low-income families. China is a big gravestone manufacturer and exporter. With the acceleration of aging of world population, the number of Japanese style gravestone and European style gravestone, standing for two major styles of gravestone in the world’s gravestone market, will continue to grow. Hosted by the Guangdong Funeral Association, the Guangzhou Funeral and Cemetery Products Fair & 2009 China (Guangzhou) International Gravestone & Stone Products Import and Export Fair will be held in the China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex during the period from 18th Day to 20th Day of August 2009.
